The hydraulic filter is designed to clean oil in hydraulic systems from harmful contaminants, which contributes to reduced wear of mechanisms, increases their efficiency, and decreases the likelihood of premature failure.<\/p>

Construction of the hydraulic filter:<\/b><\/p>

Oil filters in hydraulic systems are replaceable cartridges that are placed in a foldable housing. Depending on the requirements of the hydraulic system, they contain filter partitions made of metal mesh (low filtration efficiency, possibility of regeneration) or special filter materials reinforced with metal mesh (high filtration efficiency and resistance to pressure pulsations).<\/p>

Operation principle of the hydraulic filter:<\/b><\/p>

When the engine is started, the oil pump is activated, which ensures the circulation of oil in the hydraulic system from the tank to the working parts. Before reaching the working parts, the oil flows through the filter cartridge of the hydraulic filter, cleaning itself from harmful contaminants. In case of clogging of the filter cartridge, a bypass valve is activated, which ensures the supply of oil to the working elements bypassing the filter cartridge. The check valve retains oil in the filter when the system is not operating, to ensure quick establishment of the set pressure in the system during engine start-up.<\/p>
